Our Mission

Baw Bab Technologies, Inc., a Seattle-based startup software platform e-commerce-marketplace and digital address logistics infrastructure, last-mile delivery for non-traditional addresses developer focused on the ten largest cities in Africa. Nairobi is the first city for the Kenya Pilot Project (KPP).

  • Baw Bab is a member of the University of Washington (UW) CoMotion Labs program for startups.

    Baw Bab intends to license UW Intellectual property (IP) such as Platform, Mapping, AI and Blockchain applications through the CoMotion licensing program.

    Additional cutting-edge technology may also be licensed from MIT and Stanford for product development and system integration solutions.

  • Baw Bab was founded in 2020 by Adam J. Wehlie.

    Adam was also the founder and CEO of Technology Transfer, Inc. where he developed Systems Integrator and Value Added Reseller business model.

    During his tenure at Technology Transfer, Adam:

    • Relocated to Nairobi, Kenya and set up operations that complied with met all legal and in-country business requirements.

    • Generated sales of $1.5M in the first year of operation.

    • Produced over $3.5M in sales revenue in 3 years. Revenue dropped in the 3rd year, because Rookie CEO made mistakes by promoting someone to leadership based on friendship and loyalty instead of competency and management skills.

    • Managed, led, and mentored a global staff of team members across the US and Africa.

    • Achieved 97% customer satisfaction based on customer surveys conducted by third party independent organization.
